2021 Joey Kulaga Award winners

The Joey Kulaga Sportsmanship Award was established in 2016 in Joey's memory and is given annually to a 12 year old player who consistently puts the needs of the league and his team above his own and best demonstrates the ideals of sportsmanship including fairness, civility, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Joey embodied all of these characteristics and more. Joey was a model player and a very talented pitcher and he made a lasting impact on the teammates and coaches he came in contact with throughout his Fairfield American career.

After many votes were cast, we are very proud to announce that we have two co-winners of the award this year, Aiden Wallace from the White Sox and TK Mabley from the Mariners. Aiden and TK have been a steady presence in all seasons for Fairfield American and they always show up to the field with a big smile ready to do whatever the team needs them to do. They both embody everything that Little League is about. Every coach that has had Aiden or TK on their team throughout the years knew that they were both excellent choices to represent Joey's memory and Fairfield American.
